Anger

Today I have been questioning myself on why I never get angry? Is this normal? Maybe I should write in to a magazine lol - and my reply would say that either I was lying or needed psychiatric help...but it's true!

If someone hurts me, I don't get angry - just upset. Like if someone came up to me in the street and punched me, I would genuinely feel no anger, just pain and wonder why they did it?

Also, I've been wondering whether this is an advantage or a disadvantage.... Like I am therefore able to be incredibly patient with children and angry people, but am a bit of a pushover because of it...

Anyway I'm gonna stop making my head hurt now so, until next time

Christmas Shopping

Well this weekend just gone, I was Christmas Shopping. The typical stressful, expensive yet strangely satisfying pasttime.....

It started out quite well (except for me and Mum getting a little lost on our way into Manchester!), with the weather looking acceptable and Starbucks being our first stop :). I had a toffee nut latte which was delicious and wintery, but my time was a bit saddened by the presence of a homeless man in a doorway on the opposite side of the street. I really, really wanted to buy him a coffee because he looked so cold and weak - it made me feel so bad with all my things, umbrella, bag etc etc and he was there with nothing. However, being a rather afraid and weak person I didn't.... And now I regret that but I just hope he's ok now...

We went around the shops for hours buying present after present while the weather went from bad to worse - hail and pouring rain! After about four hours of being packed in with millions of other people: chavs with pushchairs, grannies travelling at 1mph etc, I could not take it any more. I had reached the point where I was ready to clobber every other shopper to death with my numerous bags simply for having the nerve to shop at the same time as me - it was time for a break! We went for a late lunch and I ordered a massive panini meal with loads of salad and coleslaw and stuff, and ended up being full after about four mouthfuls so had to force loads down so I didn't get it trouble - it was pretty expensive.

As we finsihed I realized that despite all the stress and crowdedness, I was still thinking about next year! Just like Christmas in general :)

My Tuesday

Marks for Today: 7/10 :]

Today was pretty good - I enjoyed all of my lessons, especially music, netball (PE) and chemistry. Music was particularly awesome because I changed my solo-performance song which had been really stressing me out! I am now singing 'Hello' by Evanenscence, and apparently have the same tone of voice as Amy Lee but "without the gothicness". Lol at that!

SO I was on a high because of that and because my favourite teacher was really nice to me about the whole singing-confidence thing and said I could practise with her whenever so that was cool :], and because I was happy the rest of the day was pretty good too..

Although, I was left alone for a bit in the evening when my Dad went to the supermarket and Mum was still at work and then the phone rang and there was no-one on the other end which creeped me out a bit, but everything's good still :).

So, yeah, I'd best be off for my shower so my hair can dry in time for bed :P

My Life

I have decided to start a blog to remember myself as I get older - so I never look back as an adult and say "I thought I knew everything when I was 15, but I was just a stupid kid".

I don't know everything, but I'm not stupid. I'm a little naive, but I know I am, and part of naivity is not realizing it

Some points about me:

  • I am a Christian

  • I am 15 years old

  • I was born on the 25th June 1993

  • I am left-handed

I love to sing and I like every food I've ever tried. I love Irish accents and my heaven is looking after babies and young children (not in a weird way). Harmonising and olives are two of my loves, along with God and my family and friends.

Normal School Day

Marks for Today: 4/10

It's not that today was a particularly bad one, just nothing much enjoyable came out of it. It started horrendously - it was raining all the way to school, and I felt a little stupid in my strange coat going past all the cars. I bought a 'Twisted' chocolate bar at Co-op but left it in my coat pocket because I didn't really fancy it first thing....

We arrived quite early, and went to various lockers before heading to lessons when the bell went. I had physics and as we entered the class CR asked me how I did on the chemistry online homework. My answer: "We had online homework?". When she confirmed it and I checked with a couple of other people, I began to panic a bit - Mr N, my chemistry teacher was nice but very strict, and I knew he usually wrote in peoples planners and gave them extra work if they didn't do homework. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that he decided to let me off as a good student as he said we could "check the homework next time". Phew!

However, as we approached the end of physics I panicked again: I didn't have my history reply slip for resitting my QMA - crap! Miss S had said that she would phone home if we didn't bring them in on Monday so I was rightly worried. Cursing my disorganisation that was so unlike me, I rang my Dad between physics and chemistry to ask him to bring it in at break (I had history 3rd lesson). I was a bit worried he would be cross with me for making him drive to school but he seemed fine and said he'd make sure it arrived ok :).

At break I was late out after tidying away the chemistry experiment then found MF and went to the office to pick up my reply slip. Luckily, it was there and I got it before heading to the toilet and chatting a bit until the end of break. History was ok, but a bit boring as we had to make loads of notes from the textbook about Hitler's rise to power. JG annoyed Miss S by eating 'Haribos' in class so she confiscated them and ate one - it was quite funny actually :D.

Maths was unexciting - we did sine rules again and I managed to copy BS's homework (again, so unlike me!) before Mr G checked it so that was ok. We got more homework though which I have just finished! When I went to lunch I got a text from MF saying she was at home ill watching Spiderman on DVD (lol) so I went to the canteen and sat with RB and AF etc to eat the pizza I bought. Then I went to the music room to work on my composition - I did an extra part which I am quite pleased with - almost finished now :).

Last lesson was german which dragged on a bit because I had a headache (possibly from my new headband digging in...) and we were doing the dull speaking test questions. I didn't go to cross-country today because I thought it wasn't on and had therefore promised AF to walk home with her and didn't want to abandon her (and, tbh, I really didn't fancy running in that weather and when I was so tired and headachey). We ended up getting a lift with AF's Mum so hung around a bit at school waiting for her while doing online chemistry homework (which I needed to do anyway).

When I got home I chatted to Dad for a while and had a cup of tea before going upstairs and getting changed. I then checked my emails and got started on my homework. I did my chemistry graph (for the coursework on the experiment we did today) and my maths homework, which I enjoyed a bit because it was very repetitive :) (not that I'm some sort of a weirdo - I just prefer maths when it's trying out a method over and over again).

Tea was fish fingers and chips which was a rather unexpected treat and I read my book 'My Best Friend's Girl' (by Dorothy Koomson), which I found in a charity shop at the weekend after enjoying it a year or so ago from the library. I am quite far into it and enjoying it quite a bit :)

I need to have a bath and hair-wash tonight, which I will do in a minute. When I've done that I'll pack my pack and practise singing my music performance piece for a bit before going down to watch "I'm a Celebrity, get me out of here" at 9pm.

Lessons tomorrow are chemistry, physics, PE, music and biology but my PE kit is already in school (meant for cross-country after school today) so I don't have too much to carry although I am taking my iPod speakers for music.. Hopefully the weather will be ok tomorrow.

Reading this, I've realized how much my life revolves around school right now - too much! As I'm in year 11 everything is 'very important' for my future so I've gotta work my socks off :(. Also, because I am predicted all A*s, I cannot exceed expectations - I can only really disappoint...

Well I'd better go for my bath now if I want to do everything in time for bed... so until tomorrow,
